Hui Zhong Law Firm (Hui Zhong) is pleased to announce that Mr. LIU Jing, the former Deputy Secretary-General and Chief Representative of the Shagnghai Office of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), is joining Hui Zhong as a senior counsel. Mr. Liu is based in Hui Zhong’s Shanghai office and will assume his position on 10 April 2017.

Following Mr QIU Ming, a former judge of the Supreme People’s Court, and Mrs. JIANG Hong, the fomer Deputy Secretary-General of CIETAC Shanghai Sub-commission and former Secretary-General of China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), who have also recently joined Hui Zhong, Mr. Liu is the third experienced practitioner joining Hui Zhong within the past one year.

During his nine years with HKIAC, Mr. Liu made significant contributions to HKIAC’s development in Mainland China, and the promotion of fusion between Chinese and overseas arbitration practices. Previously Mr. Liu had worked for CIETAC, praticed law with a top Chinese law firm, and a leading international law firm for several years.
